About Us

Rossdales is an exclusively equine practice with more than 60 veterinary surgeons and over 120 support staff.

For more than 30 years, Rossdales has been committed to employing qualified Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) and Registered Equine Veterinary Nurses (REVNs). Our professional team of nurses have joined us from a number of diverse backgrounds, bringing a high level of commitment and skills.

Exning is a village in the West Suffolk district, Eastern England. It lies off the A14 trunk road, roughly 12 mile east-northeast of Cambridge, and 10 miles south-southeast of Ely. The nearest large town is Newmarket.

The Role

The hospital nursing team is on call to provide care, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our nurses are key members of our clinical team and work alongside our vets, providing the treatment and care needed to ensure that each patient has the best chance of a healthy outcome.

This position will involve all aspects of nursing care of inpatients across a wide range of disciplines including intensive care, assisting with neonatal and emergency cases including theatre support and pre and post operative care of emergency surgical patients.

This is a full-time position, with a shift pattern of 3 set nights (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) and alternating Saturdays followed by 3 nights off, working between the hours of 19:00pm to 7:00am with a one-hour paid break.
