Job summary

inspiring vet care, Wirral Vets is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a 4 RVNs, 1 Student Nurse, 4 Vets team in Wirral. This full-time position offers a balance of surgical nursing, inpatient care, diagnostics and nurse clinics in a busy first-opinion practice.

You’ll join a supportive, collaborative environment with opportunities for development through Nurse Academy and CPD. 40 hours per week with 4 days on and Saturdays 1:4, based near Liverpool.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients.
• Support nursing standards and patient care development.
• Collaborate with veterinary surgeons and the wider team.
• Rotate duties to keep days varied and fulfilling.
