The clinic is very busy and currently there is an opportunity for an experienced Vet Nurse to join the growing supportive team. The dedicated Nurses & Vets provide exceptional and professional veterinary care to pets and their owners. This wonderful Vet Hospital has a strong reputation among a loyal client base for providing high standards of care and treatment and excellent customer service.

Due to continued growth they now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced full-time Veterinary Nurse, ideally with a minimum of 3 years experience to join their enthusiastic and dedicated growing team.

The Role

  • Assist Vets with routine examinations.
  • Surgical nursing including monitoring anaesthetics.
  • Pre and post operative patient care including grief support to clients.
  • Prepare and administer medications as required.
  • Admission and discharge of surgical cases.
  • Communicate treatment plans to clients.
  • Blood collection and testing, iv catheter placement.
  • Assist with x-rays and ultrasounds.
  • Assist with dental scale and polish of dental patients.
  • Sterilization of instruments according to practice sterilization procedures.
  • General day to day nursing duties to support the Vets and working with the team members to ensure the highest patient care.
  • General reception, admin & cleaning duties to help make the clinic sparkle.
