Chattyvets in Surrey is recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) for a full-time, permanent position in Dorking. The RVN will support surgeons, provide nurse-led consultations and deliver high-quality nursing care in a well-equipped small animal practice.

RCVS registration is essential, with a salary up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience. The role offers excellent development opportunities and a supportive team environment, located a short walk from local amenities and transport

The Role

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient and client care, working closely with the Veterinary Surgeons and wider practice team.

You’ll be joining a well-established small animal practice with a friendly and collaborative team. The practice benefits from support from a nearby 24-hour veterinary hospital, as well as a wider network of neighbouring practices.

The team works closely together to manage cases, provide excellent patient care and support each other’s professional development.

The practice is well equipped with:

• Digital X-ray
• Dental X-ray

• In-house laboratory
• Dedicated cat and dog waiting areas
• Two consulting rooms

About You

We’re looking for an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse who is passionate about delivering excellent patient and client care.

You’ll ideally have:

• RCVS registration
• Experience working within a small animal veterinary practice
• Strong patient care and nursing skills
• Experience supporting nurse consultations
• Confidence working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• A proactive approach to professional development
• An interest in supporting and mentoring colleagues
