Veterinary Nurse - Dulwich
Salary: Up to £35,000
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a dedicated and supportive team at a well-equipped practice. The practice is looking for an individual with a passion for high-quality patient care and a collaborative approach to veterinary nursing. You’ll be joining a well-established team with support from an experienced Student Nurse, Veterinary Care Assistants, and a Client Care Assistant.

You will be responsible for assisting in surgeries and procedures, delivering patient care, and managing admissions and discharges. In addition, you will carry out nurse-led appointments, including Schedule 3 procedures, and will have the opportunity to further develop your skills in this area. With a varied caseload of approximately 70% cats and 30% dogs, the practice offers an excellent opportunity for career progression, with ongoing support for clinical development and CPD.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver exceptional care to patients and clients.
  2. Support in surgeries and procedures, ensuring pre and post-operative care is provided.
  3. Manage admissions and discharges, and monitor patient progress.
  4. Carry out nurse-led consultations, including Schedule 3 procedures and client education.
  5. Provide training and guidance to support other team members.
  6. Contribute to the overall smooth running of the practice, ensuring high standards of care and client service.
