Registered Veterinary Nurse - Cambridge
Location: Cambridge
Salary: From £30,000 per year, DOE
Hours: Full-time, 8-hour shifts between 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Rota: 1:8 on-call weekdays, 1:5 weekend day shifts

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a specialist practice with a strong focus on inpatient care and clinical procedures. The role is ward-based, working closely with a team of four nurses to provide outstanding care for patients undergoing treatment in various disciplines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Providing exceptional nursing care to inpatients, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.
  2. Assisting with ward-based procedures, including blood sampling, IV catheter placement, wound management, and diagnostics.
  3. Supporting vets during clinical procedures and surgeries, such as endoscopy, surgical biopsies, and ear flushes.
  4. Maintaining high hygiene standards within the ward environment.
