Additional Resources is seeking a Veterinary Nurse to join an independent small-animal practice in West London, delivering both general nursing care and referral services alongside experienced veterinarians.

This full-time role offers 40 hours across 4 days with a rotating weekday off, a salary of £32,000–£35,000, and benefits including pension, CPD allowance, VDS cover, and more.

Qualifications

• Must have previous veterinary nurse experience.

An opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Nurse to join an independent small-animal veterinary practice in West London, providing both general veterinary care and referral services alongside experienced veterinary professionals.

As a Veterinary Nurse, you will provide nursing support across general practice, surgical procedures, inpatient care and referral cases.

This full-time role offers 40 hours’ working (4 days), with a rotating weekday off between Tuesday and Thursday, plus a salary of £32,000 - £35,000 and benefits.

You will be responsible for

• Assisting with anaesthesia and patient monitoring.
• Caring for inpatients and supporting their ongoing treatment.
• Undertaking general practice nursing duties.
• Conducting nurse consultations.
• Supporting preventative healthcare services.
• Assisting with dental procedures and care.
• Supporting diagnostic procedures.
• Providing nursing support for referral cases and visiting specialists.
• Communicating with clients regarding patient care.

What we are looking for

• Previously worked as a Veterinary Nurse or in a similar role.
• Confidence in general veterinary nursing.
• An interest in developing theatre and anaesthesia skills.
• Good organisational and reliability skills
• Referral nursing experience would be desirable.
