About The Team:
School of Veterinary Medicine and Biosciences, Scotland's first new School of Veterinary Medicine in Scotland for 150 years, developed by SRUC to promote resilience and support for animals and rural communities.
The Opportunity:
Seeking a highly motivated individual to teach and research in veterinary anatomy, supporting early veterinary science education through lectures, tutorials, workshops, and practical classes.
The candidate should have expertise in veterinary gross anatomy, comparative anatomy, and histology across domestic and companion animals, emphasizing clinical relevance and integration with veterinary practice, imaging, pathology, or surgery. The role involves developing high-quality teaching and scholarly outputs as part of the veterinary medicine team.
Applicants should have scholarly engagement experience demonstrated through publications and outputs. The position is based at SRUC's Aberdeen Campus.

Minimum Qualifications:
Postgraduate to post-doctorate qualifications such as MSc, MVM, or PhD in animal or veterinary-related disciplines are suitable. Evidence of professional development in teaching/research is expected. A veterinary degree and RCVS membership are required for appointment as a Veterinary Lecturer.
