Job description
Overview

In this role you will be part of our veterinary diagnostic laboratory providing diagnostic services in Haematology, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, Cytology, and Molecular Biology. Working collaboratively, we have a strong focus on personal customer care, quality, and innovation for our veterinary clients and their patients.

What You’ll Do
  • Receive biological samples from customers and preparing them for testing.
  • Recording results and data into the management system and managing supporting documentation.
  • Distribute supplies to our customers, along with supporting them with sample concerns or questions received.
  • Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing deliveries and performing other general tasks within the unit.
  • Participate in maintaining the Quality Standards within the department alongside audits as required.

Previous experience of working within specimen reception and/or a laboratory environment is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
