Job summary

Medivet in Aston Clinton is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) to support veterinary nurses and vets with in-patient procedures and pet care, delivering exceptional standards of care at all times. You will help clients, patients and colleagues feel valued, supported and well cared for.

The role involves 40 hours per week over a 7-day period with weekend and bank holiday cover as required, in a busy clinical environment where you can develop your skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be skilled at providing exceptional client care.
• Be a team player who supports colleagues and patients.
• Able to prioritise, stay calm under pressure and learn new tasks.
• Must be over 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to clients, supporting surgeries and procedures while complying with standards.

This is a partner-led branch, offering a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop exceptional patient care skills. As a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA), you will support the veterinary nurses and vets with in-patient procedures and pet care, helping to deliver exceptional standards of care at all times. You will play an important role in supporting our clients, patients, and colleagues, always ensuring they feel valued, supported, and well cared for.

The working week is 40 hours over a 7 day period, with a fair weekend rotation at our Aston Clinton branch. You may also be required to provide weekend and bank holiday cover, offering further opportunities to develop your skills and gain valuable experience within a busy clinical environment.
