Job summary

inspiring vet care, a long-established veterinary group, is seeking an Animal Care Assistant to join the Lynton Veterinary Group in Woking on a part-time, permanent basis. The role supports veterinary surgeons and nurses, handling patients, maintaining clean clinical areas, and assisting with reception and lab tasks.

You’ll work 25 hours per week with Saturday mornings on a rota and no out-of-hours. Training is provided, and a caring, team-focused attitude is essential for this busy,

Qualifications

• Experience with small animals preferred but full training provided.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a busy practice.

Responsibilities

• Support the clinical team to deliver high standards of patient and client care.
• Assist with inpatient care, patient handling and restraint.
• Maintain clinical areas and equipment to ensure a safe practice environment.
• Contribute to reception duties, lab work and sterile work environments.
