Job summary

DNA Vetcare is seeking a proactive Veterinary Care Assistant for our Epsom and Leatherhead sites to join a supportive team and help deliver high-quality patient care.

As part of the vet and nurse teams you will assist in consulting rooms and theatres, maintain a clean, hygienic environment, handle animals safely, and participate in reception duties. We offer extra CPD opportunities and a clear path to progression, with a 40-hour week and a 1:3 Saturday rota to share the workload.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary care or veterinary assistant role preferred.
• Comfortable monitoring low level anesthetics.
• Able to work 40 hours per week with 1:3 Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support vet and nurse teams in clinics and theatres.
• Assist with animal handling and patient care.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic environment throughout the practice.
