Medivet is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to support nurses and vets with in-patient care and pet handling. The role involves delivering high-quality care to clients and patients, helping with surgeries and procedures, and working within a friendly, supportive team at our Bedford/Hertfordshire locations.

You will monitor patients, assist with routine tasks, and contribute to the practice's commitment to exceptional care. Training and development are encouraged as part of the Medivet team.

Qualifications

• Provides exceptional client care and gentle handling of pets.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, stay calm under pressure, and learn quickly.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a busy practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to clients and patients, supporting surgeries and procedures.
• Monitor and care for hospitalized pets, including feeding and toileting.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team to maintain standards.
