DNA Vetcare in London is seeking a proactive Veterinary Care Assistant to join two hospital sites. You will support the vet and nurse teams, help with animal handling, and cover reception shifts. The role includes monitoring low level anaesthetics and opportunities for CPD and progression to RVN.

The position is full-time, 40 hours across 4 days with a 1:4 weekend and bank holiday rota, in a warm, welcoming environment that values career development for its team.

About The Role

Are you a proactive and dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant looking for an exciting new role in the South-West area? Streatham Hill Vets, are looking for a new VCA to join their team to work across our two amazing hospital Streatham Hill and Advanced Vetcare London!

You will be supported by our experienced management team, who will be there with you every step of the way, alongside our Vets, RVN & Support Teams.

This is a Full-Time position, working 40 hours per week over 4 days, with a share of 1:4 weekends and bank holidays.

As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the vet and nurse teams, by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment at all times, assisting with animal handling, working on reception, and providing support to the RVN & Vets as needed. You must be comfortable and competent in monitoring low level anaesthetics.

We boast opportunities for growth, with extra CPD opportunities, and the option of training to become an RVN. In the past year, our RVNs have achieved further qualification in anaesthesia, ECC, physiotherapy, behaviour, and diet.
