Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to join the Rowe Vets team in Yate on a part-time permanent basis. You will work alongside vets, nurses, and a welcoming front-of-house team to support inpatient care, patient handling, and a safe, caring environment for pets and their owners.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate care, and opportunities for development within a community practice.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team at Rowe Vets, Yate on a part-time permanent basis.

You’ll be working alongside a dedicated clinical team of experienced vets and nurses, all supported by an amazing front-of-house reception team who keep everything running smoothly. We pride ourselves on being a true community practice - we know our clients and their pets, and we genuinely care about both.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the clinical team to deliver high standards of patient and client care, while helping to ensure the practice environment runs smoothly and safely.

Working under the direction of a Veterinary Surgeon or Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll support inpatient care, assist with patient handling and restraint, help maintain clinical areas and equipment, and contribute to a positive and compassionate experience for both patients and clients.

Working Pattern

• 8-130 or 130-7 Monday, Tuesday and Fridays (x3 5.5hrs) In accordance with the rota either AM or PM 8-415 Wednesdays with 1 hour unpaid lunch (x1 7.25hrs) Weekends 1 in 3 9-1pm at Yate
