We are seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) to provide high-quality customer service and clinical care, promote pet wellbeing, and support our clinical team.
The role involves supporting the hospital team by maintaining a clean environment, assisting with animal handling, working at reception, and supporting Veterinary nurses and Surgeons. The VCA will also encourage financial contributions from clients as needed.
Veterinary Care Assistants may work full or part time, depending on hospital needs. This position is an excellent entry point for a career in veterinary practice.
Applicants must have a Veterinary Care Assistant Level 2 diploma or equivalent, demonstrate self-motivation, and possess good customer service skills.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old due to shift patterns.
