Medivet Group Limited is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to support nurses and vets, delivering high‑quality care to clients and patients. You will work as part of a friendly team across in-practice duties and patient care, with weekend rotation at branches or our Camberwell Hospital.

You should be passionate about pet care, capable of staying calm under pressure, and flexible to learn new duties in a busy veterinary setting. Applicants must be over 18 and committed to high standards of care.

Responsabilités

• Deliver exceptional care to clients and assist with surgeries and procedures while following regulatory and practice standards
• Provide patient monitoring and basic pet care including walking, toileting and feeding
• Collaborate within a supportive, team-based environment
• Work weekends on a rotational basis at branches or Camberwell Hospital, with BHs rotated as needed

As a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) you will support the nurse and vets with in-patient procedures and pet care delivering exceptional care always there to our clients, patients, and colleagues.

You’re skilled at providing exceptional client care and are passionate about caring for pets. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.

We welcome applications from candidates able to prioritise, remain calm under pressure and who are flexible and willing to learn.

This role is not suitable for young workers in line with Health and Safety Executive (government) direction due to the expected duties of the role. Therefore, you will be asked to confirm that you are over the age of 18 as part of the application process.

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

• Deliver exceptional care to clients, supporting surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
• Deliver patient monitoring and care to pets, including walking, toileting and feeding
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team
• Weekend working either in branch or at our Camberwell Hospital is required on a rotational basis- 1 in 3 saturdays or sundays. BH are also worked on a rotational basis where needed.
