Medivet Leigh-on-Sea is hiring a Veterinary Care Assistant to join a supportive team of vets, nurses and client care staff. You will deliver exceptional client care, assist with surgeries and procedures, and monitor patients while working closely with colleagues in a busy practice.

We value animal welfare, teamwork and a willingness to learn. The role includes weekend rota participation and ongoing development within our wider Medivet network.

Are you passionate about animal welfare and looking to build your career in veterinary care? We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Veterinary Care Assistant to join our lovely team at Medivet Leigh-on-Sea!

Our friendly and supportive practice is home to a fantastic team of 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 5 Client Care Assistants. We pride ourselves on working together to provide excellent care for our patients and a welcoming experience for our clients.

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for animal welfare, enjoys working as part of a team and is keen to learn and develop their skills in a busy veterinary environment.

This is a full-time position, including participation in a 1:4 weekend rota, alongside the on-call and bank holiday rotas at our Medivet Southend 24-Hour Hospital.

This provides an opportunity to gain experience in a wider range of clinical settings and work alongside colleagues across our wider veterinary team.
