Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to join our Lamond Vetson team in a full-time permanent role. You will support the clinical team in delivering high standards of patient and client care and help run a smooth, safe practice environment.

You’ll work under a Veterinary Surgeon or RVN, assist with inpatient care and handling, and contribute to a supportive, caring experience for animals and their owners.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team at Lamond Vetson a full-time permanent role.

We are conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Livingston South Rail Station, with ample parking available on-site. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the clinical team to deliver high standards of patient and client care, while helping to ensure the practice environment runs smoothly and safely.

Working under the direction of a Veterinary Surgeon or Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll support inpatient care, assist with patient handling and restraint, help maintain clinical areas and equipment, and contribute to a positive and compassionate experience for both patients and clients.

Working Pattern

• 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:30pm. There will also be occasional Saturdays from 8:00am-4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

Duties will be varied and include assisting with inpatient care, maintaining cleanliness throughout the hospital, supporting procedures, and ensuring the comfort and welfare of our patients.
