As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will be an integral part of the practice team.
Working with our Veterinary Surgeons, qualified Nurses, and Student nurses to provide exceptional care to our patients.
• Provide a gold standard service to our patients and clients
• Follow cleaning protocols to maintain cleanliness of the clinical environment
• Prepare and maintain medical equipment
This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months.
The role involves 40 hours a week, including some weekends at the Calne practice.
• 1:4 Saturdays, 5 hours each

Role Accountabilities:At Medivet, exceptional care is central to our mission. You will:
- Deliver exceptional care to clients.
- Support operational procedures.
- Provide patient monitoring and care, including walking, toileting, and feeding.
- Ensure completion of all pre- and post-operation activities.
- Assist with patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- Dispense medication under veterinary guidance.
- Maintain compliance with all standards and regulations.
Your Skills and Experience:- Experience working as part of a team and building positive relationships.
- Ability to provide exceptional client and patient care.
- Strong client care skills, remaining calm under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
- Understanding of regulation and compliance importance.
