Combat Stress is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric leadership to the Scottish Hub and the service. You will deliver senior clinical and psychiatric expertise to the multidisciplinary team contributing to the assessment, diagnosis and recommendations for treatment for veterans on an outpatient basis.

Based in Scotland with some remote work and travel, the role is permanent, part-time (18.75 hours/week).

Qualifications

• Expertise in clinical management and treatment of victims of psychological trauma.
• Evidence of CPD / PDP.
• Evidence in clinical governance.
• Registered with GMC.
• CCST or equivalent qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership in psychiatry in outpatient services within the Hub region.
• Deliver psychiatric expertise to assess, diagnose and recommend treatment for veterans.
• Be clinically responsible for care of veterans within the Hub.
• Advise Head of Operations on clinical matters and develop interdisciplinary team working.
• Support service development via psychiatric and medical expert advice.
