Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Vet Surgeon to join the team at a successful first opinion veterinary practice in the CITY OF LEEDS area West Yorkshire

• excellent full time opportunity working 4 days a week including 1 in 3 Saturday rota and no Sundays and no OOH.
• practice is purpose built with state of the art equipment and technologies including in-house digital X-ray, IM3 dental X-ray, ultrasound, laboratory, surgical suite, class IV laser therapy machine, separate dog/cat/isolation wards etc.
• busy with a lovely, loyal client base with good potential for further growth
• role would suit a Vet Surgeon ideally with at least 2 years + experience who has ambition to develop further.
• work alongside a certificate holder in surgery with advanced procedures including soft tissue and orthopaedics in house also a Vet working towards a certificate in ophthalmology.
• supportive working environment with a lovely, friendly team and a fantastic learning culture
• well located in sought after LEEDS area, West Yorkshire with great motorway access for easy commuting.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• ideally 2 years + experience in practice
