Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal veterinary practice in the Dartford Area, Kent.

Role Details

• Full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, including a 1 in 3 Saturday rota, with no Sundays or OOH
• Practice is purpose-built with state-of-the-art equipment: digital X-ray, in-house lab, Doppler blood pressure, ultrasound, capnography, pulse oximetry, v-gels for cats and rabbits, surgical suction, and separate dog and cat wards
• Busy with an interesting and varied caseload
• Ideally, you will have 2+ years of experience and be comfortable with occasional sole charge
• Opportunity to develop your skills further
• Join a team of 3 Vets and 6 RVNs, including Certificate holders in small animal surgery and orthopaedics

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• 2+ years of experience
• Willing to take occasional sole charge responsibilities
