Job Description:

• 25 hours a week including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, no Sundays and no OOH.

We are recruiting for a part-time Vet Surgeon to join a small animal veterinary practice in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

• Excellent part-time opportunity working 25 hours a week, including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, with no Sundays and no OOH.
• The practice is purpose-built to industry-leading standards; featuring 3 consult rooms, theatre, in-house lab, digital X-ray, ultrasound, etc.
• Varied surgical and medical caseload with loyal local clients.
• Ideally confident with routine surgery and medicine, and comfortable with some small furries.
• Join a friendly team of 2 Vets, 2 Nurses, a student nurse, and a Practice Manager.
• CPD fully supported with a generous allowance and paid memberships (BVA, VDS, RCVS).
• Great location with free onsite parking, good transport links, and direct train routes to London destinations.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• Confident with routine surgery and medicine
• Comfortable with some small furries
