Veterinary Surgeon – West Lancashire

I’m currently working with an RCVS-accredited independent small animal practice located in a vibrant village, south west of Wigan in West Lancashire – just a two-minute walk from the train station (Manchester-Southport line) and within easy reach of the M6 and M58.

This friendly, well-established practice is purpose-designed and fully equipped with everything you need to provide excellent veterinary care. Facilities include modern diagnostic and surgical equipment, and the practice also functions as a veterinary nurse training centre. You’ll be joining a small, supportive team with a genuine passion for patient care and client service – something clearly reflected in their glowing 5-star Google reviews.

Whether you're a seasoned vet or someone less experienced looking for mentorship and support to grow, this is a fantastic opportunity to thrive in a relaxed, high-quality, independent setting. Clinical freedom is actively encouraged, and there’s full backing for further training or certificates

Rota:

  • Full-time or part-time options available (25–45 hours/week)
