Job summary

Anderson Abercromby Veterinary Referrals in Horsham, West Sussex, invites applications for a Veterinary Orthopaedic Intern on a fixed-term 12-month contract.

You will assist referral surgeons with diagnosis and surgical management of cases, support perioperative care, and may perform parts of routine surgeries as experience allows. The practice offers on-site CT, excellent facilities and free in-house CPD in routine orthopaedic procedures.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a veterinary qualification recognised by the RCVS that allows practise within the UK.
• Recent graduates or vets with a few years of general practice experience are encouraged to apply.
• Opportunity to develop orthopaedic skills and pursue a career in referral or specialist surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assist referral surgeons with the diagnosis and surgical management of referred cases.
• Play a key role in perioperative care under supervision.
