Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care in Dorset is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to join St Mary's Vets on a full-time basis. You will support the clinical team in delivering high standards of patient and client care while helping the practice run smoothly and safely.

This 40-hour-per-week role includes some late shifts until 6:45pm and one in three Saturdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm, with opportunities for development through the Inspiring Vet Care Academy and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support reception and cover during annual leave when required.
• Assist nursing team with care and monitoring of patients.
• Help with patient handling and restraint under supervision.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the practice.
• Prepare and maintain clinical areas and equipment.
• Contribute to a welcoming environment for clients, patients and colleagues.
