Job summary

SYR - Shoreside Maritime Recruitment in the UK is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning & Trials Manager to lead vessel commissioning, on-site tests and trials, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate with customers, suppliers and authorities, prepare test plans and reports, and drive the acceptance process through to delivery, in alignment with the project QMS.

Qualifications

• Experience leading vessel commissioning and trials.
• Familiar with classification society requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with customers and suppliers.
• Proven QA and safety compliance in maritime projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vessel commissioning and internal shipyard trials.
• Coordinate contractual trials on-site before delivery.
• Prepare test sheets, trial reports and progress updates.
• Liaise with subcontractors, authorities and customers.
• Ensure QMS adherence and support warranty activities.
• Support safety and environmental compliance throughout trials.
