Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a skilled Handyman / Multi-Trader for a short-term project in Folkestone, Kent. The role involves handling a varied punch-list of snagging, repairs, minor decorating and basic fixings across the site/property.

The ideal candidate has proven hands-on experience as a Handyman or Multi-Trader, with own hand and power tools and a CSCS card. The contract runs 3–4 weeks starting in October, with a 40-hour week and pay in the £17–£19 per hour band.

Qualifications

• Proven background as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, or Multi-Trader.
• Own hand and power tools essential for tasks.
• CSCS Card preferred (may be required on some sites).
• Full PPE (steel toe-cap boots, high-vis, safety glasses).
• Strong problem-solving, self-motivated, and good customer-facing skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• General repair work including carpentry and fixtures.
• Basic plumbing tasks such as taps and leaks.
• Patch plastering, painting and decorating.
• Site fixings, furniture assembly, signs hanging, and ground maintenance.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and compliant.
