Job summary

SMART is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our high-profile contract in Marylebone. The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, focusing on PPM, reactive and breakdown works across electrical and mechanical plant.

You will manage assets to minimise unplanned disruptions and support cost-effective operations, with emphasis on fault-finding using alarm data and graphical information. Opportunities for training and progression are highlighted within our structured programme.

Qualifications

• Formally trained in City and Guilds Electrical Installations or the equivalent NVQ and Building Services maintenance.
• 18th Edition BS7671 City and Guilds

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine PPM on all electrical and mechanical plant in line with site task schedules and asset lists, and address faults to maintain equipment in serviceable order.
• Complete reactive tasks across the building and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain spares for maintenance and reactive works, providing parts inventory and timescales for remedial tasks.
• Keep the Computer-Based Maintenance System up to date, with accurate closure of PPM and reactive tickets, and complete paperwork for reactive and breakdown works.
• Prepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to maintain safe working practices.
