Job summary

Meridian Trust is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join North Cambridge Academy's support staff. No teaching qualification is required, but a passion to support students is essential. You will supervise KS3 & KS4 classes in the absence of the class teacher and help deliver the planned work.

You will contribute to raising standards by providing feedback, supporting departments and the academy, and working as part of a collaborative team within a high-performing multi-academy trust.

Qualifications

• Good educational background with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience of working with young people and/or education sector desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across KS3 & KS4 in the absence of the class teacher.
• Contribute to planning and evaluation of work set for covering lessons.
• Provide feedback on learning activities and support development planning.
• Be a positive team player and collaborate across departments.
