Job Description:

Are you a creative and analytical thinker who enjoys solving problems? Are you passionate about technology, eager to develop your skills, and ready to face new challenges? Join our dynamic environment in Bristol as a Verification Engineering Trainee. You will work within the Compute and ADAS IP Development teams, focusing on verifying cutting-edge real-time compute and ADAS radar processing designs for the future of driving, including electric and autonomous vehicles.

In this role, you will:

  1. Understand the process of developing IPs for the AURIX family and the complex product specifications.
  2. Collaborate with architecture and design teams.
  3. Use SystemVerilog UVM to create verification environments and debug test failures.
  4. Learn how to determine when verification is complete.
  5. Utilize various software tools to increase efficiency and ensure accurate results.
  6. Potentially work with innovative methods such as machine learning to improve workflows.
  7. Operate within Infineon's quality and functional safety process frameworks.
  8. Contribute to solving challenges in achieving on-schedule deliveries of high-quality subsystems.

We are looking for a result-oriented, proactive team player with good interpersonal skills who is eager to learn about new technologies and has creative and analytical problem-solving skills.

You are best suited for this role if you:

  1. Hold a degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Mathematics.
  2. Understand scripting principles, especially in Python.
  3. Possess good time management skills.
  4. Are fluent in English.

Additional advantages include experience with EDA software tools and some familiarity with advanced verification languages such as SystemVerilog, Specman-e, or SystemC.
