Job summary

Theatr Clwyd in Wales is seeking a Venue Technician on a short-term fixed-term contract to join our multi-skilled technical team. You will contribute to the delivery of events across our flexible performance spaces, supporting both our own productions and visiting companies.

Working under the Venue Technical Manager, you will help provide high-quality technical services, focusing on sound, AV, and stage operations to maintain our standard of excellence across every event.

Job description

We are looking for a Venue Technician to join our multi-skilled team for an exciting opportunity on a short-term fixed-term contract.

Our Venue Technicians support the delivery of a diverse range of events across our flexible performance spaces, providing for all of the technical needs of both our own productions and visiting companies. Working under the direction of the Venue Technical Manager, you will play an important role in delivering a high-quality technical service to both Theatr Clwyd and visiting productions, ensuring the highest possible standards across every event — including our highly acclaimed rock and roll pantomime.

We are looking for candidates with a combination of skills across one or more of the following areas:

• Stage Operations
• Sound
• AV

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong skills and experience in Sound, Lighting and/or AV.
