Job description

Location: 88 Wood Street, London EC2V 7QR

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (dependent on experience)

Where belonging is designed, through clarity, care and calm delivery.

About TOGETHER

TOGETHER is a human‑first space designed for how people come together.

Built on hospitality, clarity and care, we create the conditions for connection to happen properly.

Calm on the surface. Rigorous underneath.

We’re now looking for an experienced Venue Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operation of the space and set the standard for how it runs, feels and performs.

This is a senior, hands‑on role for someone who brings composure under pressure, thinks ahead, and understands that great hospitality is as much about how things feel as how they function.

The Role

As Venue Manager, you are responsible for the confident, seamless operation of the space. You oversee events from planning through delivery, lead the on‑site team, and act as a trusted presence for clients and partners. You anticipate issues before they surface and create an environment where everything feels considered, calm and under control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation of the space, ensuring consistently high standards of service, hospitality and presentation.
  • Lead event delivery from planning through live execution, including set‑up, coordination and breakdown.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients, building trust through clarity, consistency and follow‑through.
  • Manage operational budgets and costs, ensuring events are delivered profitably and transparently.
  • Recruit, train and lead the venue team, setting standards through presence, care and attention to detail.
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, licensing requirements and building standards.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to support bookings, visibility and commercial performance.
  • Handle client questions, feedback and issues with professionalism, discretion and calm authority.
  • Lead post‑event reviews to refine processes and continuously improve delivery.
About You
  • Proven experience managing a premium venue, hospitality operation or complex event environment.
  • Calm and decisive under pressure, with strong operational judgement and attention to detail.
  • A natural leader who sets the tone without ego.
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and event profitability.
  • Confident communicator who builds trust quickly with clients, partners and teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of venue compliance, licensing and health & safety requirements.
  • Someone who cares deeply about how spaces feel, not just how they operate.
Why Join TOGETHER
  • Be part of a purpose‑led brand raising the standard for in‑person experiences.
  • Work in a considered, beautifully designed, hospitality‑first environment.
  • Join a small, experienced team that values clarity, care and doing things properly.
  • Play a key role in shaping how TOGETHER shows up, every day.

If you believe the best experiences feel effortless because the thinking behind them isn’t, we’d love to hear from you.
