A city council in the UK is seeking a Venue Hire and Marketing Coordinator to join the Visitor Experience team at Heaton Park. This role involves coordinating venue hire bookings and creating marketing materials while ensuring high-quality experiences for visitors. The ideal candidate will have event management experience and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Additional Payments: 6.7% Flexibility Payment, Casual Car Allowance

Casual Car Documentation-The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use.We have an exciting opportunity to join the Visitor Experience team at Heaton Park as a Venue Hire and Marketing Coordinator on a permanent basis.
This role is instrumental to our visitor programme, ensuring that we have a high quality, engaging and varied event offer throughout the year for our millions of visitors. As part of this, you will source and coordinate venue hire bookings, filming and photography requests within Heaton Park whilst working with key stakeholders and the wider Parks Service to set out quality and safety standards for our partners to operators to fulfil and ensure a quality experience for our visitors. Alongside events, you will be responsible for creating and delivering marketing and communication materials which represent Heaton Park. This will involve working with our Corporate Communication and external organisations to create and share as appropriate.
