Job summary

Portsmouth Football Club is seeking a Non-Match Day Sales Executive (Maternity Cover) to join the Commercial team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role focuses on maximising non-match day conferencing and events revenue by developing relationships across Portsmouth, the surrounding region, and nationally where appropriate.

You will manage enquiries, build campaigns with in-house teams, and ensure data is kept up to date in iVvy.

Qualifications

• At least one year's experience within venue, conference and events sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible with working hours and patterns of working.

Responsibilities

• Maximise revenue from non-match day meetings and events.
• Develop relationships across Portsmouth, surrounding region, and nationally where appropriate.
• Pro-actively manage enquiries and process payments where appropriate.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Team to build a non-match day programme.
• Maintain accurate client data in iVvy/CRM and communicate regularly.
