Reports To: Venue Manager

Starting Date: 10 November 2025

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across all public and backstage areas of our venue. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our guests, performers, and staff experience a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated public and backstage areas, including foyer, corridors, lifts, toilets, stairways, dressing rooms, and studio.
• Carry out cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard.
• Follow company health and safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly to the Operations Team.
• Empty bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste safely and correctly.
• Clean accessible windows and glass surfaces.
• Assist with occasional laundry tasks (e.g., washing and drying tablecloths).
• Liaise with the Venue Manager in advance to manage cleaning stock and supplies.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring safe and proper use.
• Deliver excellent customer service by keeping public areas clean and presentable at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Strong attention to detail and a “can-do” attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• Comfortable with manual handling and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of health & safety and cleaning compliance.

Hours & Start Date

1. Position 1 — Hours: Monday 6-10am (4 hours), Tuesday 6-9am (3 hours), Wednesday off, Thursday off, Friday 6-9am (3 hours), Saturday 6-9am (3 hours), Sunday 6-9am (3 hours). Total: 16 hours.
2. Position 2 — Hours: Monday 6-10am (4 hours), Tuesday off, Wednesday 6-9am (3 hours), Thursday 6-9am (3 hours), Friday off, Saturday 6-9am (3 hours), Sunday 6-9am (3 hours). Total: 16 hours.
