Job summary

Hamilton Lane is seeking an Associate in our Venture and Growth Equity Team, based in London to cover Europe and Israel. You will assist deal leaders in sourcing, evaluating and managing venture and growth equity investment opportunities, including funds, co-investments and secondaries.

Your responsibilities include due diligence, investment memos, client materials and portfolio management support, with opportunities to collaborate across high‑performing teams in a data-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ related experience in venture or private markets.
• Strong interest in venture and technology investing.
• Experience with analytics and qualitative due-diligence factors.
• Undergraduate degree required.
• Proficient in Excel modeling, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Interest in applying approved AI tools to research and analysis.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Independent initiative and execution are critical.
• Ability to present and defend investment theses.

Responsibilities

• Support all venture and growth equity investments, including funds, co-investments and secondaries.
• Conduct thorough due diligence with financial analysis and market research.
• Lead due diligence meetings with General Partners and management teams.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for decisions.
• Assist in sourcing opportunities and managing the investment pipeline.
• Support portfolio management by monitoring performance and reports.
• Prepare and present client materials.
• Manage day-to-day communication with General Partners.
• Assist in training Analysts and supervise projects.
• Oversee industry analyses, geographic studies and marketing materials.
• Stay current with industry trends to provide insights.
