Job summary

Indepth Hygiene Services, part of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd, seeks an experienced Grease Extraction Engineer to join a two-person team across day and night shifts in Reading and surrounding areas.

You will inspect fire dampers, perform drop tests, clean commercial kitchen extract systems to TR19 Grease standards, identify defects, and report findings with photos while ensuring safe methods of work and on-site setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in ventilation hygiene, fire damper testing or ductwork cleaning is essential.
• Full UK driving licence and CSCS card are required.
• Enhanced DBS check or clear background check preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fire damper inspections and drop testing.
• Clean commercial kitchen extract systems to TR19 Grease standards.
• Identify and report defects, ensuring safe works and high quality reporting with photos.
• Assist with site set-up, safe system of work, and use of access equipment.

Ventilation Hygiene/ Grease Extraction & Fire Damper Testing

Location: Reading / Slough / Bracknell and surrounding areas

Salary: Up to £30,000 + overtime + bonus

Hours: Days and Nights - 10 hour days (including travel)

Indepth Hygiene Services are seeking an experienced Grease Extraction Engineer to work within a two‑man team across both day and night shifts.

The role involves supporting the Team Leader in carrying out fire damper inspections and drop testing, cleaning commercial kitchen extract systems in accordance with TR19 Grease standards, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high professional standard.

You will be responsible for assisting with site set‑up, safe system of work implementation, access equipment use, and the completion of accurate reports with photographic evidence.
