Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and talented Vendor Manager to join our fast paced and exciting Fashion team. The position requires a person who is passionate and creative, with proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task. You will work with various internal and external stakeholders to improve customer experience and drive growth for Amazon Fashion.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Strategic Planning: Develop strategies to enhance product assortment, pricing, convenience, customer acquisition, and product information to increase customer satisfaction.
  2. Partnership Development: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with new vendors through effective communication, strategic judgment, and negotiation, even in complex situations.
  3. Category Expansion & Profit Management: Manage budget creation and execution, set assortment and sales/profit targets, and oversee implementation.
  4. Market Analysis & Growth Strategy: Analyze sales and market trends, develop and implement growth strategies, select or create high-growth categories, and negotiate with partners.
  5. Project Leadership: Lead or participate in projects affecting the entire company, including planning, goal setting, execution, and team management.
  6. Promotion Planning: Collaborate to plan and execute web-based promotional campaigns with partners.
  7. Internal Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, inventory, web development, marketing, and other related departments to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications include over 5 years of relevant experience in challenging roles such as sales, buying, merchandising, or consulting, a bachelor’s degree or higher, excellent communication, negotiation, planning, problem-solving, and PC skills, along with business-level English proficiency and Japanese language skills. Financial knowledge and experience with vendor negotiations and data management are also required.
