Job Description:

Amazon is creating a portfolio of private brands in consumer goods across a wide range of categories and quality tiers. We are looking for a Senior Vendor Manager to lead sourcing within a Fresh private label product category for our Amazon Fresh business, covering both physical stores and online.

Amazon Fresh Private Brands seeks an exceptionally motivated and talented Vendor Manager with a strong customer focus to manage a product category. Responsibilities include developing, sourcing, launching products, and ongoing supplier optimisation and management. The role involves collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, traffic, design, commercialisation, finance, and operations.

The ideal candidate must thrive in an ambiguous but collaborative environment, demonstrating ownership, integrity, independence, and entrepreneurial drive.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Act as the business owner for their categories, understanding internal and external variables affecting the business.
  2. Monitor seasonality, global trends, and industry developments.
  3. Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  4. Conduct financial analysis to meet revenue and profitability goals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in account management, project/program management, or buying.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.
  • Data-driven decision-making experience.
  • Experience fostering cross-team collaboration.
  • Business analysis and P&L management experience.
  • Ability to drive alignment across teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent senior-level experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
