Vendor Management Specialist - Outsourcing – Third Party Management – Financial Services

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Outsourcing & Vendor Officer with strong Contract Management experience to join a leading Financial Services entity’s Bank in London. This role involves managing the onboarding & offboarding of Vendors/Suppliers and maintaining relationships with them.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Vendor/Supplier Relations:

• Oversee and manage external vendor/supplier relationships to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes for vendors and suppliers, ensuring smooth transitions and policy adherence.
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for all vendors and suppliers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Implement and monitor vendor risk management practices to mitigate outsourcing risks.
• Track and oversee renewal and expiry dates of contractual agreements, ensuring timely renewals and compliance.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Coordinate, track, measure, and report vendor/supplier performance against contractual obligations and costs.
• Analyze data to identify trends, track performance, and optimize vendor relationships.
• Identify sourcing opportunities and support tendering processes to ensure quality and value.
• Review and assess the best routes to market to meet business needs and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations in the financial sector.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and adapt vendor management practices accordingly.
• Use analytical skills to identify savings opportunities and achieve cost savings.

Strategic Alignment and Problem Solving:

• Align vendor management strategies with the bank’s business goals.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate vendor practices into organizational strategies.
• Address and resolve issues in vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement measures to prevent issues and improve vendor performance.
