Vendor Data Operations and Content Sr Specialist, Belfast

Summary: Cboe Data Vantage is a division of Cboe offering data and analytics products to help clients navigate markets. The Vendor Data Operations and Content Sr Specialist will work within the Risk and Market Analytics Group (RMA), ensuring data accuracy, supporting analysis, and managing global market content from various sources including internal, external exchanges, and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to Data Sourcing activities: analyze data requirements, identify source data, and collaborate with Product Owners and Data Sourcing teams.
2. Assist with content onboarding and ensure vendor reporting requirements are met.
3. Support content standardization, data flow mapping, and documentation of data models and processes.
4. Automate workflows and reporting using AI and automation tools to improve efficiency.
5. Provide data analysis support, understand content use cases, and track changes from data providers.
6. Train internal teams on content-related topics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a STEM field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Data Operations within financial markets across multiple asset classes.
• Domain expertise in Market Data, Reference Data, Risk, Compliance, or FinTech.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in SQL, RDBMSs, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in global teams.

Desirable Skills:

• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Windows, Linux command line.
• Knowledge of software development and change management.
