Job Opportunity: Vending Services Assistant

We’re a multi award-winning contract catering company, serving over 45,500 satisfied customers daily. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Vending Services Assistant to join our team.

Location: Short Way Thornbury, BS35 3UT, Bristol.

Shifts: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (21 hours per week).

Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with different departments and managers to achieve desired results.
  2. Comply with all due diligence procedures as instructed, following company policy.
  3. Ensure goods are stored correctly in line with food safety policies and procedures.
  4. Maintain effective record-keeping regarding storage and due diligence checks.
  5. Ensure all stored food is correctly labelled and within expiry date.
  6. Monitor vending points and machines to ensure consistent levels of produce.
  7. Accurately handle cash, perform stock taking, and maintain records.
  8. Attend training sessions as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 certificates.
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment.
  • Good merchandising skills and till experience.
