Job Description

Grafana Labs is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Velocity Account Executive. The Velocity Sales team operates within our self-serve group and is responsible for our SMB segment.

In this position, you will be responsible for driving both new business acquisition and existing customer growth within your assigned book of business. Your primary objectives will be to close new business and maintain active engagements with current month-to-month customers that indicate a propensity to acquire our contract offering.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales targets
  2. Accurately forecast business on a quarterly basis
  3. Spearhead the growth & adoption of Grafana Cloud through our month-to-month customer base
  4. Respond to and qualify incoming requests from our new upgrade and new trial cohorts
  5. Understand and convey the value of both Grafana Cloud Self-Serve and Contracted
  6. Partner with cross-functional teams to share customer feedback
  7. Become an expert in our product and add value in every user interaction
  8. Manage quote creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in software sales
  • Experience with OSS business models is preferred but not required
  • Proven track record of consistent goal achievement in a competitive environment (top 10% performer)
  • Adaptability and experience in high-velocity technology companies
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Excellent communication skills across all channels (in person, online, in writing) and ability to build strong relationships both virtually and in person
  • Experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is a plus

The OTE compensation range for this role in the United Kingdom is GBP 74,000 - GBP 82,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, level, and skills. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable), and other listed benefits.
