Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a Workshop Technician to support the Automotive Aftermarket Training Centre in Nuneaton. The role involves hands-on vehicle prep, testing panels and assisting with product testing and training delivery.

You will manage stock, uphold safety standards and work with internal teams to provide high quality workshop support. The ideal candidate has practical vehicle repair experience, good organisation, and is comfortable supporting practical training sessions while maintaining

Qualifications

• Previous vehicle repair experience or related hands-on work.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle preparation, repair or paint application.
• Previous training experience or confidence delivering practical training.
• Basic to intermediate IT skills.
• Good organisational skills around stock, equipment and materials.
• Awareness of workplace health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage workshop stock control, including placing orders and coordinating deliveries.
• Prepare vehicles and testing panels for use by Application Engineers.
• Assist with new product testing activities, including vehicle masking and paint application.
• Deliver training on vehicle repair solutions to channel partners and customers.
• Monitor and control chemicals on site; complete COSHH assessments.
• Maintain safe systems of work for equipment like sanders and grinders.
• Welcome visitors and provide a professional first point of contact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to maintain the training environment.
