Job description
This role requires an Application Engineer with Automotive Engineering experience to collaborate with customers on adapting technical products and services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering foundation, current organizational and project management skills, and experience in the automotive testing industry. Key skills include:
- Automotive sector experience, preferably in Vehicle testing
- Project Management
- Ability to understand and solve complex engineering problems using technical data (regulations, data sheets, etc.)
- Client-facing skills
- Scripting skills in Python, C#, JavaScript, or other languages
Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing and identifying current and future needs of automotive customers and proposing innovative solutions
- Communicating with development and test teams and reporting project status to management
- Providing pre-sales advice to customers and distributors, including quotations, on-site demonstrations, and training
- Supporting marketing activities such as attending expos, creating content, and writing application notes or magazine articles
