Job summary

Lothian DAF is hiring experienced HGV Technicians/Engineers for their DAF dealership. Various shifts are available and full transition training is provided for engineers moving into commercial vehicle tech.

The role requires strong vehicle knowledge and diagnostic/problem-solving skills. We offer a well-equipped workshop, flexible shift patterns, overtime options, a pension scheme and an hourly rate of £20.24 for a 45-hour week (Mon–Fri day shift).

Job description

Lothian DAF is looking to hireexperienced HGV Technicians/Engineers for their DAF Dealership. Various shifts are available.

Full transition training is available for Engineers looking to move into a Commercial Vehicle Technician role, along with ongoing franchise training and development.

The ideal candidates will have good all-round vehicle knowledge and problem solving and diagnostic skills.

We offer excellent workshop facilities and flexible shift patterns. Hourly rate is £20.24 per hour, 45 hours per week. This role is based on a Monday to Friday day shift, with overtime opportunities available, as well as the option to join the DAFaid rota. We also provide a company contributory pension scheme.
