Job summary

DAF Trucks UK Ltd is seeking skilled HGV/Truck Technicians for night shift work in our state-of-the-art Preston workshop. You will perform diagnostics and high-quality repairs with attention to detail, using modern technology and tools.

We value adaptability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a strong track record of reliable workmanship. A Tachograph licence is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience as HGV/Truck Technician with diagnostic abilities.
• Strong attention to detail in fault finding and repairs.
• Able to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Adaptable to changing tasks and priorities.
• Night shift work experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled HGV/Truck diagnostics and maintenance.
• Work the night shift in a modern workshop.
• Collaborate with colleagues to diagnose and resolve complex faults.
• Adhere to health and safety and quality standards.
