Job Introduction
Vehicle Technicians - New Pay Plans
Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting Vehicle Technicians to join the Listers Group across Coventry and Nuneaton, working with brands such as Audi, Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercials, Skoda, Toyota, Lexus, CUPRA, and SEAT.
Our packages and new pay plans are industry-leading and reflect each applicant's experience and skillset.
The basic salaries start from £30,000 up to £45,000.
Bonus / OTE’s range from £32,700 up to £48,000.

Role and Responsibilities

Our technicians are responsible for servicing, repairing, and diagnosing all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard on the first attempt.
Main responsibilities include electrical and mechanical repairs, such as suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
Additional responsibilities may include repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems.
You will have the ability to fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
You will understand Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
You will be trained to operate additional systems, such as video reporting (e.g., Citinos).
You will complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
Work closely with other workshop team members to continuously learn and share knowledge.

About you

We consider candidates from all backgrounds with experience in the automotive sector as Vehicle Technicians, Mechanics, HGV Mechanics, HGV Technicians, Motor Mechanics, Motor Vehicle Technicians, Car Mechanics, HGV Fitters, Auto Electricians, MOT Testers, or Apprentice Vehicle Technicians.
Whether you work at an independent garage, fast-fit center, car supermarket, or main dealer, we are interested in speaking with you.
You should hold or be working towards a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
A full UK driving license is required.
